Illinois company brings jobs to Indiana

Two hundred and fifty jobs are headed to Indiana. Tuesday, an Illinois company announced it would cross the border. Modern Drop Forge is the latest company to take advantage of lower taxes and operating costs. It was in Blue Island for 96 years.
Now, it is moving to Merrillville, in Lake County. Modern Drop Forge is the 13th company to move from Illinois to Indiana in the last year.
