Illinois driver killed by loose tire on highway

CHICAGO, Ill. -- A woman driving a car with Indiana license plates was killed Wednesday morning near Chicago after a freak accident.
Investigators say a tire flew off an SUV on the Bishop Ford Highway and bounced across the dividing median and hit the woman's car head on.
Her roof and windshield were crushed from the force of it.
Police did pull over the driver of the SUV who was missing a tire, and have said she has been cooperating in the investigation.
