The Indiana Department of Transportation will be hosting a Virtual Open House Webinar regarding state infrastructure, which is open to everyone, on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Thanks to the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the state of Indiana can expect to receive nearly $100 million in federal funding as a part of the newly-formed National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requires the state of Indiana to form and submit an Infrastructure Deployment plan that details how these funds will be used in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration.
The open house will discuss the goals of the Indiana Infrastructure Deployment Plan, as well what chances the public has for engagement throughout the implementation of the plan.
The agenda for the meeting includes a program overview, updates on the current status of the plan, public engagement strategy and a Q&A engagement.
The first of two speakers will be Scott Manning, the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Indiana Department of Transportation. Kerri Garvin, the Executive Director of Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Inc. will also be presenting.
