Indiana DNR offering free admission to veterans and active-duty military members on Nov. 11

All veterans and active-duty military personnel, including everyone in their vehicle, will be admitted free to any state park, reservoir properties, state forests and state off-road vehicle riding areas on Nov. 11, according to the Indiana Department of Resources.

This also includes the Falls of Ohio State Park Interpretive Center.

Veterans and military personnel should present an ID or evidence of military service at entrance gates of the park. Gate attendants will accept discharge papers, veterans license plates, US Department of Veteran Affairs Disability Award letter, veterans hunting and fishing license, documents showing veterans benefit and name or any other certificate that shows a past/present military service.
