11 boats destroyed in fire at Patoka Lake marina

DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind.—Officers responded to a fire at a marina on Patoka Lake on Friday, according to Indiana DNR law enforcement.
Smoke was seen coming from a boat in one of the docks at the Hoosier Hills Marina on Patoka Lake around 8:45 a.m.
The fire damaged or destroyed 22 boats, according to the Indiana DNR.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Staff members at the marina will contact affected boat owners.
