Indiana Food Banks looking for volunteers

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Food banks in Indiana are looking for more volunteers across the state as their help from the National Guard ended Wednesday. The guard has been helping out since April.

The deployment of the National Guard to help 11 food banks in Indiana ending after 6 months due to federal funding running out.

Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, a food bank association created in 2005, has gathered 450 volunteers very recently, but they are looking for hundreds more.
