Indiana has 26,053 cases of COVID-19, 1,508 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 634 new cases of COVID-19 and 26 deaths.

There are a total of 26,053 cases and 1,508 Hoosiers have died.

To date, 160,239 tests have been reported to the department.

Intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. Nearly 41 percent of ICU beds and nearly 80 percent of ventilators were available as of Thursday.

Johnson County had the most new cases, at 116.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (27), Bartholomew (12), Boone (14), Elkhart (48), Hamilton (10), Lake (98), Marion (103), Porter (11), St. Joseph (42) and Vigo (12).

  • Elkhart Co.: 589 cases, 22 deaths
  • Fulton Co.: 39 cases, 1 death
  • Kosciusko Co.: 50 cases, 1 death, 20 recovered
  • La Grange Co.: 46 cases, 2 deaths
  • La Porte Co.: 346 cases, 13 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 39 cases, 1 death
  • Pulaski Co.: 34 cases
  • St. Joseph Co.: 897 cases, 33 deaths, 292 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 24 cases, 2 deaths
