Indiana has 82,336 cases of COVID-19, 2,968 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 506 new cases of COVID-19 and 14 deaths.

There are a total of 82,336 cases and 2,968 Hoosiers have died.

To date, tests for 934,033 unique individuals have been reported to the department.

As of today, nearly 35 percent of ICU beds and more than 81 percent of ventilators are available across the state.

ISDH will host four free testing sites from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday:

  • Team Rehabilitation, 223 Chicago Ave., Goshen
  • Northside Gymnasium, 300 Lawrence St., Elkhart

**The 7-day positive test rate shows the average daily positive test rate for the 7 day period. The daily positive test rate represents the percent of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 on a given date. The 7-day period is delayed 6 days to allow time to receive comprehensive test results.
