Indiana has 9,542 cases of COVID-19, 477 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced 611 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with the coronavirus and 41 deaths have been reported since Wednesday.

There are a total of 9,542 cases and 477 residents have died.

To date, 51,115 tests have been reported to the health department.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 113.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (44), Elkhart (19), Floyd (10), Hamilton (15), Hendricks (18), Johnson (11), LaPorte (70), Lake (106), Porter (14) and St. Joseph (35).

  • Kosciusko Co.: 21 cases, 1 death
  • La Grange Co.: 14 cases, 1 death
  • LaPorte Co.: 112 cases, 5 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 20 cases
  • Pulaski: 1 case
  • St. Joseph Co.: 306 cases, 7 deaths, 20 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 10 cases, 1 death
