Indiana lawmakers looking to allow land-based casinos

INDIANAPOLIS — A new proposal in the state legislature would allow land-based casinos in Indiana.

Casino competition in the midwest is making Indiana lawmakers take a second look at allowing casinos to move on land. Lawmakers feel that revenue could drop as much as 15 percent over the next three years.

Indiana casino's are facing newer, tougher competition from casinos in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.
