Indiana man arrested for driving under the influence, concealed weapon violation

THREE RIVERS, Mich.—According to the Michigan State Police, a man driving a 2015 Audi A4 was stopped around 6:30 p.m. for driving 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Sunday.

The 49-year-old man was stopped on US 131 near M216, and had a blood alcohol content roughly three times Michigan’s legal limit of .08.

The driver also had a concealed weapon and valid permit.

However, because he was intoxicated at the time, the driver was charged with misdemeanor possession of a firearm while intoxicated, as well as operating while intoxicated.

He was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
