Indiana man rear ends semi truck in LaGrange

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind.— According to a press release from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, a 25-year-old man rear-ended a semi on US 20 around 6:30 a.m., Sunday morning.

Authorities say Julian Guevera, of Ligonier, was driving a Ford Focus headed westbound on US 20 when he failed to see a semi’s turn signal.

As a result, Guevera crashed into the back of the trailer.

Guevera was treated for a minor injury to his wrist at Goshen Hospital.

Seat belts were worn by both parties and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
