Indiana National Guardsmen return home

FRANKLIN, Ind. -- An emotional welcome home ceremony was held for more than 100 Army National Guard soldiers who spent the past nine months serving in Afghanistan.


Every handmade sign tells the story of a son or daughter who put it all on the line to serve their country and the family they left behind.


Many of our troops are scheduled to start drawing down after the first of the year.


Right now about 48,000 troops are stationed overseas.
