Students gearing up for local careers in Manufacturing
The Indiana Department of Education released a guide for school districts on how to safely reopen while COVID-19 is still a concern.
Indiana’s Considerations for Learning and Safe Schools is a checklist of things each district must consider, review or revise before opening.
Examples include revising the school year calendar with built in contingencies , alternative command structures if key employees are unable to work, flexibility for absences due to illness, outbreak or exposure to a contagious disease, create a plan for cleaning and disinfecting buildings, desks, buses, equipment before and after students return and how schools should implement social distancing.
