Indiana Powerball doubles ticket and jackpot prices

INDIANA -- Starting this week, Powerball tickets will cost $2.00.

The good news is ticket buyers can now win more. The starting jackpot has doubled, from $20 million to $40 million.

The odds may also be in buyers’ favor. The pool of numbers will also drop from 39 to 35.

Game officials say the change will increase potential winners' chances.
