Indiana stage collapse victim in surgery

A survivor of the state fair stage collapse underwent surgery Friday.

Andrea Vellinga suffered a severe brain injury after the stage collapse in 2011.

Doctors said they hope the surgery will be her final surgery to replace a portion of her skull.  She developed an infection during the first two attemps at the surgery and for the past six months she had to get saline injections into her head to help.

She says she is confident the surgery will work and will continue her rehab.
