Indiana State Police recover vehicle stolen from St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Troopers from the Indiana State Police recovered a vehicle that was stolen from St. Joseph County during a traffic stop on Saturday. Police say that the vehicle had a false license plate.
The traffic stop occurred on U.S. 31 in Miami County near County Road 800 North.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, 31-year-old Tiffani Ward of Atlanta, Georgia, was allegedly travelling at 74 miles-per-hour in a 60 miles-per-hour zone.
Ward was booked into the Miami County Jail on a felony charge for possession of stolen property.
She also faces a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana.
Ward was also cited for speeding and having false license plates.
