Indianapolis prepares for remnants of Hurricane Isaac

INDIANAPOLIS -- Folks in Indianapolis are preparing for the worst.

The storm that was once hurricane Isaac is making its way across the Midwest over the Labor Day weekend and that could mean heavy rain for Hoosiers.

Folks lined up around the block for sandbags.

Public works crews allowed families to pick up 25 sandbags a piece to help fight possible flood waters.

Those in line have dealt with flooding before and said it was worth the wait.

The public works department filled 8,700 bags on Thursday and hundreds more on Friday.

Crews hoped to keep up with demand and avoid problems if the storm does in fact turn into trouble.
