INDOT, Kohl's offering scholarships

While many high school seniors have made their decision on what college they will go to in the fall, they might still be looking for scholarships.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is trying to encourage more students to consider engineering degrees and is offering scholarships for civil engineering.

The scholarships can be used at any school endorsed by the Indiana's board of engineering and technology, including Valparaiso University and the University of Notre Dame.

The scholarship amount per semester is over $3,000. More information can be found here.

Kohl's is also offering scholarships to students 6-18 years old.

There are two weeks left to nominate kids who make a positive impact on their communities.

Winners will be announced nationally, regionally, and locally, and over $400,000 is available.

The link can be found here to nominate a student before the March 13th deadline.
