Indy Pride Festival patrons await Supreme Court decision

INDIANAPOLIS — The 25th Indianapolis Pride Festival brought an estimated 80,000 people to the area Saturday.

Saturday's parade showed proof that there is a shift in attitudes and acceptance towards gays and lesbians.

Even though it was a celebration, many were keeping an eye on the politics of the issue as well as a landmark ruling that could lead to an array of possible outcomes affecting same-sex marriage.

The gay couples at the festival join a majority of Americans in the hope that traditional marriage is about to be redefined.
