Inmate visitation resumes at Elkhart County Correctional Facility

ELKHART CO., Ind. -- We have an update about a technical problem that kept Elkhart County inmates from having visitors over the weekend.
The Elkhart County Correctional Facility contacted us on Monday and said the previous issues have been resolved.
Visitation will resume on Tuesday at its normal times.
Visitation will be available each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Visits will be 15 minutes, unless the corrections warden has given written approval.
The visitation schedule is:
- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - Inmates with last names beginning N-Z
- Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays - Inmates with last names beginning A-M
- There are no visitations on Mondays, but family is encouraged to pick up property on that day.
