Investigation underway following commercial fire in Lincoln Township

LINCOLN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Firefighters responded to the intersection of John Beers Road and Lincoln Avenue to reports of commercial building fire early Sunday morning, according to the Lincoln Township Fire Department.

Upon arriving, officials found that the heaviest source of the fire was engulfing the east end of the building.

Both the Royalton Township Fire Department and Lake Township Fire & Rescue responded to assist with the fire, which crews put out over the course of around four hours.

No injuries were reported, although the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
