HOUSTON -- The search for the parents of an abandoned baby outside of Houston has investigators putting an innovative new twist on a time-tested forensics tool.
In the last week of February, a woman walking her dogs found the infant left outside.
Police are still trying to find the parents and are using a sketch artist to do age-progression sketches. These sketches will help determine what her parents might look like.
Investigators are also looking closely at one of the infant's teeth. The tooth possesses a rare trait seen in one out of every 2,000 births. It could be tied to family history.
