IOU jobs: Whirlpool owes Indiana $800,000

Whirlpool owes the State of Indiana $800,000 for moving jobs out of state!
The State Economic Development Corporation made the announcement on Tuesday.
After significant layoffs in 2009, Whirlpool agreed to keep 260 full-time jobs in Evansville to keep tax credits.
But now, Whirlpool only has about 230 Evansville employees.
The company recently outsourced several jobs to its Benton Harbor headquarters.
