Irish beat Michigan in CCHA title game

DETROIT — The Irish hockey team are Mason Cup title champions.
The team took on the Michigan Wolverines Sunday afternoon in Detroit fighting for the CCHA title.
Michigan jumped to a 1-0 lead in the first period. Notre Dame answered back with a 2-1 lead.
The Wolverines weren't able to catch them.
Notre Dame finished the cup game off with an empty net goal making the final score 3-1.
