SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A day full of unexpected turns resulted in the expected outcome for Notre Dame women's basketball.
Hours after NCAA Tournament brackets were mistakenly unveiled prematurely, the Irish gathered at Purcell Pavilion to officially hear their names called as the No. 1 seed in the Chicago region.
The ACC regular season and tournament champions will begin their tournament play in South Bend, hosting 16-seed Bethune-Cookman on Saturday at 11 am. Also in South Bend will be the 8 vs. 9 matchup of Central Michigan against Michigan State.
Hear from the Irish as they react to the matchup and prepare for the upcoming tournament!
