Irish hockey hosts annual practice at Merrifield Park

MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Notre Dame hockey team went back to their roots on Saturday with the annual practice on the pond at Merrifield Park in Mishawaka.
After practice, the players signed autographs and talked with fans.
Fans even had an opportunity to win Irish memorabilia.
The Irish will take on Minnesota Tuesday for their first game of 2013.
