Irish legend Bob Whitmore dies at 73

NOTRE DAME, Ind. –Bob Whitmore passed away Saturday afternoon at the age of 73 after battling pancreatic cancer.
Whitmore was a Purcell Pavilion Ring of Honor inductee and a standout for the University of Notre Dame men’s basketball team.
Whitmore played for the Irish from 1966 to 1969.
