Irish Legend: Shane Walton

Shane Walton, a native of San Diego California, played football at the University of Notre Dame from 1999-2002. He also played a single season in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams.
Walton went to Notre Dame on a soccer scholarship. His sophomore year, he joined the football team and was named All-American in 2002.
In 2003 he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round.
Walton joined ABC57's Allison Hayes on set for the premiere episode of ABC57 Saturday Kickoff.
