Notre Dame football has placed its goals this season not only on winning games, but by dominating their opposition. That was the case at points during Saturday's 48-37 victory over Wake Forest, but the team still felt it left something on the table.
After taking a commanding lead in the second half, Wake Forest scored a couple late touchdowns to make the score closer than the Irish had otherwise hoped.
See highlights and reaction from the Fighting Irish players and coach Brian Kelly in this recap, and see more on the game by clicking here.
Notre Dame has now won seven straight games to improve to 8-1 on the season, doubling the win total from 2016. The team will now try to extend that winning streak next week on the road, in a Top 10 matchup, against the Miami Hurricanes.
