Irish women prep for Big East foe UCONN

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Notre Dame women's basketball team is getting ready for one of the biggest matchups of the season.

The No. 3 ranked Irish (13-1) will take on Big East powerhouse and rival No. 2 UCONN (11-1) Saturday at the Joyce Center. Coach Muffet McGraw said she's expecting a sellout crowd for the big game.

The coach also said she's proud of her team for taking it one game at a time this season and this next game will be no different.

"We try to play every possession like it’s the most important of the entire game, and not to get careless and look at the score,” said McGraw.

Tip-off is at 4 Saturday afternoon.
