Isaac may help drought affected states

LaPLACE, La. -- Tropical Storm Isaac continued to make its way through Louisiana on Thursday as officials ordered more evacuations.

Officials are worried that the storm could breach more dams.

They also warn that water is flooding "shockingly fast" and thousands of people in the flood zone are still waiting for rescue crews.

Neighbors and friends have stepped up to help evacuate people who are stranded

About 750,000 homes and businesses are without power.

Isaac is expected to move farther inland over the next couple of days before finally breaking up over the weekend.

And there is good news.

The storm will bring some much needed relief to states hit hard by the drought.
