NOW: Isolated storm chances tonight, Hot and humid Sunday

A heat advisory is in effect until 9pm this evening due to the hot and humid conditions. Temperatures by 10pm this evening will be in the lower 80s. There is a very low chance of a stray shower or storm in northwestern Michiana near the lake shore late tonight. Tomorrow morning temperatures will only drop into the mid 70s. Tomorrow will be hot and humid again with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A heat advisory is likely again tomorrow as the heat index is expected to be in the upper 90s to around 100. If you are going to be outside make sure to stay hydrated and take plenty of breaks. Isolated rain and storm chances are possible tomorrow evening. A few of those storms could be on the stronger side with heavy downpours and gusty winds.

 

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible Monday into Tuesday morning. If you have any lawn work that needs to be done, make sure to do that tomorrow. High temperatures Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 60s. Mild temperatures will stick around through most of next week. More isolated rain and storm chances are possible Wednesday. A warm front arrives by next weekend and will provide more rain chances along with hot temperatures.
