ISP asking for help identifying child dead found in suitcase


WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. -- Indiana State Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a child who was found deceased inside a suitcase on Saturday in a rural area of Washington County.

Based on the autopsy, investigators believe the child is 5 years old. He is black, approximately 4-feet tall with a slender build and short hair.

The child was found in the 7000 block of E. Holder Road in Washington County. He was found inside a suitcase with a Las Vegas design on it.

The autopsy did not reveal a cause of death. Final results are awaiting toxicology reports.
