ISP shares driving tips concerning motorcycles

INDIANA -- As the temperature drops and more people take the road on motorcycles, the Indiana State Police want to make sure people pay attention out on he roadways.

According to the Indiana State Police, this time of the year is the busiest for riding motorcycles and they want to drivers to be aware of a few tips.

First, they say that drivers should watch out for motorcycles using all of your mirrors since they can sometimes sneak up on you.

Second, police say that drivers should use caution when turning left. Most motorcycle accidents occur when a car cuts a turn short.

Third, police say drivers should share the road with motorcycles and to give them enough space.

And lastly, obey all traffic laws, including no texting while driving.
