ISP trooper's condition improving after shooting

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police trooper who was allegedly shot by his 11-year-old son last Friday is improving.
Officials say Trooper Matthew Makowski has been moved out of the ICU.
His son has been preliminarily charged with attempted murder.
He is scheduled to be in court later this week.
