It's a boy: Potawatomi Zoo welcomes new animal

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- This week, The Potawatomi Zoo welcomed a new bundle of joy.

The animal is a type of goat-antelope that is native to Tibet.

The baby was named Jet Lee. His parents are Mulan and Kong. For now, all three will be living in an exhibit, just on the other side of the Bengal Tigers.

Fewer than 20 zoos exhibit this kind of animal.

Marcy Dean, Potawatomi's Society Director said, "Babies Excite people, people love babies, when our visitors come they're always asking when is the next baby where.  What is going to be born this year."

The animals are considered threatened, due to habitat destruction and hunting.
