IU considering cutting costs for summer courses

INDIANA -- Good news could be on the way for co-eds taking classes at IU.

The university wants to discount tuition for undergrads, who take full course loads in the summer.

Indiana University says the 25 percent cuts would be for students enrolled at any of IU’s eight campuses.

The savings could be between $700 and $1,000. If approved, the discounts would start next summer.

The board of trustees will consider the proposal at a special meeting on Friday.
