SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Indiana University system, which includes IU South Bend, announced that everyone on any campus is now required to wear a face covering.
All students, staff members and visitors must abide by this new protocol.
The University said that a mask must be worn anytime class is in-session or during lectures – and this goes for both teachers and students.
Masks must also be worn in all IU buildings as well as in public spaces and common areas.
If you are outdoors, you must wear a mask in the event that you are not able to maintain social distancing.
The University will also supply two masks to everyone. However, you can wear your own if it meets CDC guidelines.
Students who occupy a dorm room will not be required to wear a mask while in their dorm.
