SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Indiana University South Bend received the designation for the 2022-2023 year.

Out of the 1,800 schools participating in the 2022-2023 survey, IUSB managed to reach number six ranking for small public colleges.

This was earned based on a solid community outreach program and high graduation rates determined by survey data. The Military Friendly® Advisory Council also factored in the college’s student retention, job placement, and loan repayment options in their decision.  

“IU South Bend is committed to our veteran-affiliated community, and that encompasses veterans, service members who are active duty, reservists and National Guard,” said Savanna Herbert-Annis, Assistant Director of the Office of Veteran Student Services of IUSB. “We have a dedicated space on campus where folks can come to as a safe place, where they can have discussions with us and with other military-affiliated individuals.”
