Santa at the Mistletoe Market: How to stay on the nice list
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — is unveiling one of its hall’s multimillion dollar makeover Monday.
The more than 11,000 square foot Riverside Hall will soon be the home for the university’s health and wellness education and clinical laboratory sciences program.
The expanded center aims to provide health care to underserved communities
While its services will be available for the campus, it will also serve for residents facing financial challenges in accessing health care, transportation and other restrictions.
The year-long renovation cost the university $4 million.
Senator Joe Donnelly played a role in funding this project.
With the senator’s help, the university secured a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services worth more than $1 million.
The senator will be at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the hall at the university at 9 a.m.
