Ivy Tech offer summer camps for junior high students

VALPARAISO- Ivy Tech Community College Northwest is now registering 6th, 7th and 8th grade students for Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) camp and Computer Design camp at the Valparaiso campus, 3100 Ivy Tech Drive.

CSI camp will be held Monday, June 11 - Friday, June 15, 2012 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Students will learn how to detect clues, apply CSI techniques at a mock crime scene, collect evidence, take crime scene photos, make shoe impressions, learn to lift and analyze fingerprints, get hands on experience with detectives, and much more.

The cost is $50 per student which includes materials and supplies. Students are asked to bring their own lunch.

Computer Design camp will be held Monday, June 18 - Friday, June 22, 2012 from
9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Students will learn 3D design, Illustrator, Photoshop, produce an actual 3D object and much more.

The cost is $50 per student which includes materials and supplies. Students are asked to bring their own lunch.
