Jarrett Grace gives a humorous speech at the ND pep rally

ABC 57 photographer Matthew Armitage had his camera rolling as Irish linebacker Jarrett Grace tried to tell the story of how Notre Dame came to be as a university.
The video above shows clips of Grace's speech and Notre Dame's head football coach Brian Kelly's reaction.
The University of Notre Dame was actually established in 1842, with Father Sorin as the university's first president, holding that position until 1865.
