One year later, many still reliving Colon tornado
The city of Chicago is hosting the NBA All Star 2020 game, the 69th edition and all the star studded events during NBA All Star weekend.
The greatest basketball players in the world are in Chicago for the weekend.
On Friday, they held the 5th annual Junior Kids Day for the NBA.
Over 1,000 kids converged onto Navy Pier.
They got to meet NBA superstars and legends.Kids from 40 different Chicago neighborhoods learned all about the fundamentals of the game and leadership.
“Definitely fun, man. Being a part of all-star weekend is something that is always special, you should never take it for granted. It’s the best of the best, so got to enjoy it and have fun," said Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Junior Kids day is just the start of a great NBA All Star weekend.
