July 1st Marks the End of Public Smoking in Indiana

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Smokers enjoy your last day of freedom!

The Indiana statewide smoke-free law goes into effect tomorrow, July 1st.

"Sunday marks the start of a new era for the health of hoosier workers," said the Co-Chair of the Indiana Campaign for Smoke Free Air.

For the first time, people at restaurants and workplaces will be legally protected from second-hand smoke.

The campaign believes the positive health impact will be immediate.
