Junior Lee Beebe sentenced

PAW PAW, Mich. -- Junior Lee Beebe will spend the rest of his life in prison, for murder.

Tuesday, a judge sentenced the 34-year-old Van Buren County man to two life sentences without parole.

Last month, a jury convicted Beebe in the shooting deaths of his girlfriend and his cousin’s wife.

Police found the bodies of Tonya Howarth and Amy Henslee near Beebe’s trailer in January.

The women’s bodies were found just a few days after they disappeared.

Before sentencing, Beebe maintained his innocence.
