Just weeks away: PGA to tee-off in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Two months from Thursday, the Senior PGA will tee-off in Benton Harbor!

Harbor Shores is moving into its new clubhouse this week, which also features offices, a restaurant and a pro shop!

Grounds keepers are also prepping bunkers, fairways, and greens.

The golf course opens next month.

They need to make sure that all of the elements are in line with PGA standards.

"Bunkers have a certain thickness that you have to modify, mowing height and things like that, but for the most part on a daily basis we're pretty close to their expectations," said Aaron Williams with the Harbor Shores Golf Club.

The new Harbor Shores Clubhouse and Restaurant are set to open the second week of April.
