K-9 Jake helps find missing elderly woman

K-9 Jake located an 80-year-old woman with dementia who was reported missing Monday evening, according to Three Rivers Police.

Officers were dispatched to the Bentwater Apartments just before 7 p.m. to look for the missing woman.

K-9 Jake was called to track the missing woman.

Jake tracked the woman through a field and neighborhood and ended a mile away in the Harding's parking lot.

The woman had fallen in the Hardin's parking lot just before Jake located her, police said.

The woman was treated and transported by Three Rivers Fire Department.

Police also want to thank the good Samaritans who joined in the search for the missing woman.
