K2 drug bust in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, Ind. -- A small store in Syracuse was raided Friday after an ongoing under cover investigation determined the store was selling one of the most difficult drugs to track, synthetic cannabis, or K2.

The "What You Want” store is located at 503 S. Huntington Street.

Police say the store has been under investigation for several months.

According to police, undercover purchases of K2 were made and then tests were run on the substance. They were able to confirm that the substance was illegal and obtain a search warrant.

During the bust, police say over 100 packages of K2 were found along with records of transactions.

Police say this store is one of three that are part of a larger investigation.
