Kern Road north ramp to U.S. 31 closure

ST JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that the ramp for Kern Road to northbound U.S. 31 has officially been rescheduled to close beginning Monday.

Originally, the ramp was scheduled to begin its closure July 6 before being delayed.

The ramp will be closed for approximately three weeks for a bridge deck overlay project.

This project will extend the life of the ramp, the department says.

An official detour for the ramp will follow Ironwood Road and U.S. 20.
